What's Happened Lately?
In recent weeks, every "Eagle" regular I've talked to is distraught over the deteriorating condition of the course. Last Sunday, some "old timers" who I thought would never abandon the place were talking about not coming back. Worse yet, the Eagle has become almost unplayable for new folks - resulting in a bad rep for the course and slow play for the rest of us. Does anyone know what's going on and why the sudden change in philosophy regarding course maintainance?

Can Someone Turn Up the Heat
It looks like we are getting some symptoms of Global Warming. What do you think?
Late rains and colder winter is upon us, including recent earthquakes, maybe the scientist misjudge the end of the world?
Cold mornings not only will increase prices for citrus plants, avocados as well, PGE is probably loving this weather expecting high expensive heating bills.
Yet will all these things happening around us, golf is still in mind of everyone at the Eagles. Lets rally up the troops and play more rounds before the world ends.

Gleneagles at Mclaren Park (Best Golf Club in SF)
Why?
Maybe you should check it out yourself.
Its the best club, well its a club house and bar combined. Where can you get a drink at 7am in the morning. Everyone kinda knows your name once you become a regular. Its a place where you park and get on the first tee within 5 minutes, if its not busy.
Its like a cheers club, everyone buys you a drink and all the club members are always asking you weird questions. Such as let me ask you this, oh really and excellent. The club has enough people to start a colony. A doctor, a lawyer, a carpenter, an electrician, an artist, a bunch of hippies, a mechanic, what ever it is, we have it!!
This is the only course I know, where there is always someone hanging out for a game of rabbit, or skins or match play. Can't beat that. The course is also tough even though its only 9 holes. Everytime you play it, the holes changes for some reason.
Maybe its the wind direction, maybe its the trees, maybe its the location or maybe its the sound of rap, and yelling in the background while you tee off around the 3rd, 4th and 5th hole.
Anyway, whatever it is. Glen eagles is the best. Comment back and keep the blogging alive.
